Director of Community Outreach & Impact
Kalifa Wright brings confidence, passion, and hands-on leadership to her role as Director of Community Outreach & Impact for Let Us S.O.A.R. Foundation.
Kalifa joined the Foundation at a critical stage during preparations for the Uplift the Community Health Fair & Benefit Concert and quickly demonstrated her ability to move from vision to execution. Working under the direction of the Foundation’s leadership, she played an integral role in executing the event, supporting sponsorship outreach, engaging prospective partners, and managing key aspects of the event-day operation.
Fearless and proactive in her approach, Kalifa is comfortable engaging people at all levels. She communicates eloquently and passionately, with an ability to clearly articulate the Foundation’s mission and connect that mission with potential supporters, partners, and members of the community.
Her professional experience includes work within corporate Jamaica, as well as experience within Jamaica’s cultural and public sectors, including work connected with the Ministry of Culture, the office of the Hon. Olivia “Babsy” Grange, and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC). She also has an academic background in actuarial science, bringing analytical ability and a strong educational foundation to her practical leadership skills.
Kalifa’s combination of confidence, intelligence, communication skills, cultural-sector experience, and willingness to take initiative makes her a valuable link between Let Us S.O.A.R. and the communities it serves. As Director of Community Outreach & Impact, she helps transform the Foundation’s mission into visible, organized, and meaningful action.
