Vice Chairperson & Director of Education & Programs
Alexis Graves is an experienced educator and education specialist with more than two decades of experience dedicated to improving educational opportunities and outcomes for children and young people. With a Master’s degree in Education, she brings extensive knowledge in special education, student intervention, curriculum development, learning recovery, and inclusive educational practices.
A strong advocate for educational equity, Alexis believes that every child should have access to meaningful opportunities to learn, develop, and succeed, regardless of circumstance. She has been particularly committed to expanding access to STEM and STEAM education, viewing these disciplines as important pathways to creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and greater opportunities for students in underserved communities.
Within Let Us S.O.A.R., Alexis provides leadership in the development and implementation of the Foundation’s educational programs. Her work includes helping to shape student-support initiatives, scholarships, school partnerships, learning-recovery strategies, STEM/STEAM programming, and other interventions designed to address both immediate educational needs and long-term student development.
Alexis also brings a strategic perspective to program development, helping the Foundation consider not only what assistance is provided, but how programs are structured, implemented, evaluated, and strengthened over time. Her experience working across educational environments allows her to contribute to planning, capacity building, program evaluation, and the development of sustainable approaches to supporting schools and students.
As Vice Chairperson and Director of Education & Programs, Alexis combines educational expertise with organizational leadership, helping Let Us S.O.A.R. translate its commitment to education into structured programs capable of creating measurable and lasting impact.
